- in April 1894 Gt Crosby UDC was formed and took over responsibility for Crosby & Blundellsands Vol FB which was now known as the Gt Crosby Fire Brigade.
In 1937 the new Borough of Crosby was formed when Gt Crosby and Waterloo with Seaforth UDC’s merged. The new part whole time, part retained Brigade had stations at Waterloo and in the Council Yard on College Rd, Great Crosby equipped with 2 motor pumps.
